If you upload a document into Active Documents, and there are no other Side-provided documents in Active Documents, then there is no recipient information tagged within your envelope documents.
When sent, DocuSign will not have recipients to list unless you have set a default DocuSign CC recipient or tag an uploaded document accordingly. You may still manually add recipients within DocuSign if needed.
