You can now set the signing order of an envelope from the Side Application.
After clicking Prepare Envelope you will have the option to toggle the signing order for your envelope recipients prior to sending.
- Note: recipients given the same order will receive the envelope at the same time. The lowest-numbered signer will receive the envelope first, and when that recipient signs, the next-highest-numbered signer will be sent the envelope for signature. This repeats until all signers have completed signing.
Alternatively, you may also set the signing order if you choose to Edit in DocuSign. After you have selected all your Side-provided templates into Active Documents, filled them out, and are satisfied that these documents are accurate and complete, click Edit in DocuSign to open the DocuSign view in a new browser tab. Scroll down below the document thumbnails, and you will see the Add Recipients section.
- If you wish to send documents to all recipients at once, make sure the “Set signing order” checkbox is unchecked.
- If you wish to control the signing order of the documents, check the “Set signing order” checkbox, and a box will display an order number to the left of each envelope recipient. You may edit those order numbers to control the signing order.
