You can get locked out of your Okta account if:
- You input the incorrect password too many times
When you first get locked out, this screen will appear and you will also automatically receive the following email. You can either enter in your Side Brand Email and select Email or click “Unlock Account” in the email you received.
If you select Email in your browser, then you will click “Send me an email”
You will then receive the following email and will need to click “Unlock Account”
After you click “Unlock Account” in the email, a new tab will appear with this screen and you will click “Receive a code via SMS”
Enter in the code that you receive and click “Verify”
Your account is now unlocked and you can now enter in your password and click “Verify”.
If you still do not know your correct password, you can either:
- Have your password reset by Customer Service team. (reach out via chat support or help@side.com).
- Follow the instructions in this FAQ to do a self-service password reset.
