Do I Need Approval to Get Visibility to Another Agent's Transactions?
Who needs explicit approval to see another agent's transactions in the Side App, who's automatically granted access, and how Transaction Coordinators — including Side-provided TCs — should request it.
Associate Agents & Co-Listing Agents
Yes — if you are an Associate Agent or Co-Listing Agent and want visibility into another agent's transactions in the Side App, you'll need that agent's explicit approval.
How to Get Access
- The agent whose transactions you need to see must contact Side Support — via chat or by emailing help@side.com — to request that you be granted access.
- Once approved, you'll be granted visibility into all of that agent's transactions.
Partners & Team-Assigned Transaction Coordinators
Partners and Transaction Coordinators who are part of an agent's own team are automatically granted visibility into their team's transactions — no additional approval is needed for transactions within their own team structure.
Side-Provided Transaction Coordinators (Side TCs)
If you're a TC provided through Side rather than hired directly onto a specific team, and you need to be designated as TC of record for an agent — or added as a DocuSign CC for that agent's transactions — the agent can grant this access themselves, with no need to go through Side Support.
How the Agent Grants Access
- The agent goes to their Account Settings in the Side App.
- Click Team Management.
- Find your name in the team member list and use the Edit Your Transactions dropdown to grant access.
