How do I order the NHD report from Clear NHD?

You can order the NHD report from Clear NHD in 2 ways - one-click order through Compliance Review and manual:

  1. In Compliance Review, navigate to Action Items on the transaction file, click on ‘Order NHD Report’ and follow the prompts. Click here for a quick video walkthrough.
  2. You can also place Clear NHD orders manually at listing or escrow stage using Clear NHD website at www.ClearNHD.com.

Note:

  • Regardless of how you place the order, you will need to use the following forms in order to ensure RESPA compliance: seller-signed ABA and seller-signed and initialed Selection of NHD Report Provider
  • Only place the order for Clear NHD if the seller elected to use Clear NHD for this transaction
  • Currently only California requires NHD reports
