1099s are issued each year in January for the prior tax year. There are two convenient ways to download your 1099 PDF:
Download via the Side App (will be available last week of January)
1099s are available for download anytime in the Account section of the Side app.
Email Delivery (will be sent on January 27)
1099s are sent electronically through our partner Track1099 and are sent to the business email we have on file for you (the same email you receive payment summaries). Search your inbox for the subject line “You have a 1099 from Side Inc.”.
Note: not all agents are eligible to receive a 1099, due to earning amounts or tax status (ex: anyone with an Scorp tax status is exempt). If you do not see a "Tax Info" section in your Side app, it is because no 1099 was issued.
